Just saw a stat that 60% of artists on ArtStation never get a single comment on their portfolio pieces

Found that buried in a blog post about platform engagement and it's making me rethink who I'm even posting for, has anyone else noticed their own work just sitting there with zero feedback?

Yeah that stat hits hard, makes you wonder if half the people posting are just shouting into the void. I figure most folks are scrolling by so fast they don't even stop to type a word, just like a silent thumbs up and move on.

You ever see that study about how the average post on forums like this gets read for like 2 seconds before someone scrolls past? @william_jackson65 I remember reading somewhere that something like 90% of people on any given thread never post anything at all. They just lurk and move on. So when you do type something out, it really is like yelling into an empty room most of the time. I think most folks are just looking for a quick laugh or a hot take, not a conversation. Makes you wonder why we bother sometimes.
