My art program's update broke all my custom brushes. Back up before you install.

Yeah, a buddy of mine lost hours of work on his comic because an update got all his brushes. His whole custom set just got nuked. Learned the hard way to always backup before hitting install.

Ugh, that is the actual worst feeling. I've been there with lost custom settings before and it just makes you want to scream. It's like the update targets the one thing you actually need to keep working. Your buddy's story is going to make me backup my own stuff right now, no joke.

Did he try saving his brushes to cloud storage too, just in case the local backup fails?
