My portfolio site got 20x more views after I added a simple process page

Used to just dump finished art with no context, but last month I added a page showing my sketch to color steps with timestamps, and a gallery owner actually messaged me about a commission. Has anyone else seen a jump in engagement just by showing your workflow instead of only the final piece?

Oh man, totally! I did the exact same thing about a year ago and it was like night and day. People get weirdly invested in the messy middle part of your work, not just the shine at the end. I started posting rough thumbnails next to my final pieces and suddenly clients were asking about process videos and stuff. It makes you feel more human and less like a mystery machine that spits out art. Plus, it gives people a reason to stop scrolling and actually look at your page for more than two seconds. Definitely keep doing it, it's a game changer.

Three months in and my engagement nearly doubled, this really works.
