Dude, that "hitting 1000 watchers" part really got me. A friend of mine finally hit that same milestone on her deviantArt after like three years of posting every week (she draws these really weird fantasy creatures with too many eyes). She was so excited she actually cried a little, which is funny because she's usually super chill about everything. But then the next day some random person left a mean comment saying her art was only popular because she followed a trend, which totally killed the vibe for a few days. It's crazy how even the good stuff can bring out weird energy from people, you know? So yeah, big congrats on your milestone, just don't let any of that noise steal your shine.

Man, that's rough. I had a buddy who makes these super detailed pixel art maps, like old-school RPG town layouts. He finally got featured by a big gaming site, thought it was his big break. Then some dude dug up a map he'd made five years ago from a tutorial and accused him of stealing the whole thing. Even after he proved it was his own work, the guy just doubled down. It's like people can't just let someone have a win without trying to tear a piece off it. I'm real happy for Angela's friend getting the watchers, but the noise is just part of the deal sometimes.
