Talked to a kid at the art supply store who said he only works on a tablet and never touches a brush anymore
He was 19 and said my generation 'ruined art' by insisting on physical mediums, but I reminded him that we were the ones who made digital art mainstream in the first place, and now I wonder if anyone else feels caught between both worlds.

It's wild how this keeps popping up everywhere now, not just in art. Kids think anything before their time is old and busted, then adults act like the new way is killing something sacred. I see it with music too, people swearing vinyl is the only way to really listen, but then they stream everything on their phone. We're all just stuck in this weird middle ground where nothing feels pure anymore because every method has its fans and its haters. The kid was wrong to blame your generation though, we all just use what's around us and that's fine.

48 million Spotify tracks uploaded last year alone. Numbers like that make my head spin. Does the sheer volume ruin discovery for anyone else? I spend more time filtering noise than finding something good nowadays.
