That time a pro at a Denver convention showed me their layer masking shortcut
I was watching them work on a live projection piece and they just tapped a key to toggle the mask view instead of clicking through menus, and I saved like 20 minutes on my next complex render, anyone else learn those random efficiency tricks from watching someone else's hands on the keyboard?

It's funny how those little keyboard shortcuts feel like discovering a secret level in a video game. Kinda makes you realize how much of our daily grind is just layers of hidden efficiency we haven't uncovered yet. I bet there's a ton of stuff like that in regular life too, like the way your grandma folds a fitted sheet or how a mechanic checks your oil. Mostly we just stumble through things the hard way until someone casually shows us a better path. Idk, maybe the real trick is just staying open to watching how other people do the small stuff.

Man, that's the best feeling when you catch a trick like that.

I get what you're saying about that satisfaction, but honestly I don't really feel it the same way. When I pull off something tricky it just feels like I got lucky and barely dodged a mess up. Like I spend the whole time thinking about all the ways it could have gone wrong instead of enjoying the moment.
