Took me 6 hours to realize my tablet pen needed a driver update
I was working on a digital painting in Procreate last Tuesday and the pressure sensitivity just stopped working halfway through. I spent 3 hours messing with brush settings thinking I accidentally changed something. Then I googled and found 20 different forum threads with no clear fix. Finally I checked my driver software and saw there was an update from 3 months ago that I never installed. Has anyone else spent way too long on a simple fix like this?

The pressure sensitivity thing is brutal when it disappears. I lost a whole afternoon once because my Wacom drivers decided to revert to an older version after a Windows update. Ended up reinstalling the whole thing twice before I noticed the version number was wrong.

oh man, my buddy steve had this exact thing happen on his old intuos. he spent hours trying to fix it, even bought a new cable thinking that was the problem. turns out windows did the same driver swap and he never even checked the version number until i suggested it. is it always a windows update that messes with this stuff?
