Vent: My old tablet pen felt like drawing through mud after trying a new one

I used the same basic stylus with my screen for about two years, and my lines always looked a bit shaky. Last week, I borrowed a friend's tablet that had pen tilt support, and the difference was huge. Suddenly, my brush strokes had natural pressure and angle, like real ink. It made my old work look flat in comparison. Has anyone else had a simple gear upgrade completely change their digital painting feel?

Yeah, that makes total sense. Saw a video once where an artist said the right pen can feel like an extension of your hand, and a bad one fights you the whole time. It's wild how much a single feature like tilt can unlock. Makes you wonder what else in your setup is holding you back without you knowing.

Sometimes the fight is what makes the art good.

My old tablet pen must think we're in a boxing match. Guess that explains my shaky lines.

Isn't it wild how a better tool, like @william_jackson65's pen, can make the whole process feel effortless instead of a fight?
