Went back and forth between a Wacom tablet and an iPad for my digital painting setup
I picked the iPad Pro last year after watching a buddy in Chicago use it for a live mural showcase, and honestly the Procreate workflow has been way smoother for my style, but has anyone else dealt with the file transfer headaches when moving to a desktop?

Oh man, I spent like three hours trying to email a file to myself before realizing I could just use the cloud.

Oh man, that is such a relatable struggle. I mean, I have definitely been there too, where you just go on autopilot and do it the hard way before the obvious solution clicks. It's like your brain just picks the most complicated path first and then you're like "why did I just do that?" The cloud is so much easier once you actually remember it exists. I swear, sometimes technology is supposed to make life simpler but it just gives us more ways to trip ourselves up. Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like we all have that one file transfer method we cling to until it becomes a huge headache.

Wait hold on, has nobody actually looked at the free Apple ecosystem tools yet? I see everyone jumping straight to third party cloud services or emailing files to themselves. AirDrop works instantly between iPad and Mac if you have both. And if you don't own a Mac, you can set up iCloud Drive for free and just save your Procreate files right into that folder. Then they show up on your PC or Mac automatically through the iCloud website. People always forget those built-in options exist because they're so focused on what they already know. It took me two weeks of frustration before I even opened the Files app on my iPad to check what was in there.
