The change in my sister's gravy between Christmas of 2021 and last week was wild
She switched from instant mix to a roux after Grandma called her out at dinner, and now everyone fights over the last spoonful. Has anyone else had a recipe rivalry like that completely flip the table?

No way, your grandma just called her out right there at the table? That's brutal but honestly hilarious. It must have been so awkward in the moment but now look at the payoff. Having people literally fight over gravy is a total win, she should thank grandma next year. Did your sister seem upset at first or did she just take it as a challenge?

So @tarar27, did your sister ever admit the gravy was better after grandma threw the challenge down? It's one thing to get called out in public, but another to actually deliver and prove the old lady wrong. Sounds like there's a new family tradition brewing now whether she likes it or not.
