Finally picked Mrs. Meyer's over Dawn after a year of debating

I kept the big blue Dawn bottle under the sink for like 12 months. Just in case. But my wife's lemon verbena Mrs. Meyer's kept calling my name. Last weekend I washed a greasy cast iron pan from a bacon breakfast. Mrs. Meyer's cut through it just fine. No residue. And my hands didn't feel like sandpaper. Anyone else find a scent that works better than the standard blue stuff?

Honestly I totally get this. I had the same weird loyalty to Dawn for years thinking it was the only thing that could handle greasy dishes. But then my sister left her Mrs. Meyer's lavender at my place after a visit and I tried it on a nasty baking sheet. Blew my mind. Your hands feeling like sandpaper thing is so real too, my knuckles used to crack after washing dishes with Dawn. Now with Mrs. Meyer's I actually don't mind doing the dishes because my hands don't hate me after. The scent thing is huge for me too, lemon verbena is way better than that chemical smell. Glad I'm not the only one who made the switch finally.

Correct you on one thing @perez.patricia, it's actually Mrs. Meyer's lemon verbena that's the bees knees. The lavender is fine but it doesn't cut through grease as good. I switched over a few months back and my hands don't feel like a cheese grater anymore either, that chemical stuff in Dawn was definitely doing damage to my skin without me realizing it.
