That bottle of lavender dish soap I bought at the farmers market was a $12 mistake

I saw this handmade dish soap at the Saturday market in Austin and the seller swore it could cut through anything. First wash, it barely touched the grease on a frying pan. I had to rewash everything with my old Dawn just to get it clean. $12 down the drain for a bottle that smells nice but does nothing. Anyone else fall for a fancy soap that totally flopped?

I bought a $14 bar of goat milk soap from a little stand in Fredericksburg that claimed to be "industrial strength." It melted into a slimy puddle after three days and left a weird film on everything. Idk, maybe I just got a bad batch but it felt like a total rip off for something that barely lasted a week.

Ngl that "industrial strength" soap sounds like it gave up faster than my last diet.
