Tried hot vinegar on my caked-on baking dish after 3 scrubs did nothing

My grandmother's Pyrex had this layer of baked cheese that wouldn't budge even after soaking in Dawn overnight, so I microwaved some white vinegar for 2 minutes and poured it in. Stuff cut through the grease like a chainsaw and I didn't even have to scrub, has anyone else found a random kitchen hack that beats the name brands?

The denture tablets work crazy well on mugs but here's the real deal - try a dishwasher pod dissolved in hot water for burnt on pans. Dropped one in my worst sheet pan with boiling water and let it sit for an hour, the carbonized crud literally slid off in sheets. Way cheaper than bar keeper's friend and I already had the pods for dishes. Also works on plastic containers that got stained from spaghetti sauce if you let it soak overnight.

Read somewhere that denture cleaning tablets work wonders on stained coffee mugs. Toss one in with hot water, let it fizz overnight. Came out looking brand new. Same idea as the vinegar thing I guess. Sometimes the cheap stuff works better than the fancy sprays.

Oh yeah, I did that with my stained travel mug and was shocked how clean it got. What else have you tried that actually worked?
