Vent: That week I burned through three different dish soaps and none of them cut the bacon grease.
Last Tuesday I cooked a big breakfast for my daughter's family, and ended up scrubbing the same cast iron pan three times because the first two soaps just left a greasy film. Third one finally worked but by then I was so annoyed I just threw the pan in the dishwasher. Anyone else have a soap that totally fails on heavy grease but works fine for everyday dishes?

Is it just me or does everything feel like it works worse than it used to these days?

The Nina's onto something. Seems like a lot of products nowadays are just watered down to cut costs, and you end up using twice as much to get the same result. The whole system feels designed to make you buy more, not actually solve the problem.
