My ex-wife's lawyer caught me off guard during the deposition in Cleveland

I was sitting in that stiff chair at the law office downtown, thinking I had everything ready, and then she pulled out a text message from three years ago about me saying I'd cover her car payment. I just sat there silent for 10 seconds before my lawyer jumped in. Has anyone else had a random old message blow up their case?

Yeah, I saw this article about how cops can get your texts even if you delete them. Really makes you think twice about what you type out.
