Finally finished that garage workbench I started 3 years ago

I bought the lumber back in 2021 and it just sat in a pile until last week when I forced myself to clear out the space. Used a pocket hole jig my brother loaned me and got the whole thing done in a weekend, even leveled it on the sloped concrete floor with some scrap shims. Has anyone else had a project hang over their head for that long?

That shelf lumber pile became a permanent part of the garage decor, just like all my other unfinished plans.

But isn't a pile of lumber technically a shelf if you stack it right?
