Finally fixed that crooked cabinet door after 6 months of putting it off
My kitchen cabinet door has been sitting crooked since last August. I kept saying I'd get to it but honestly I thought it'd take like an afternoon to fix. Turns out the hinge screw holes were stripped out so I had to drill them out and glue in these little wooden dowels to give the screws something new to bite into. Whole thing took maybe 45 minutes once I actually stopped making excuses and watched a 5 minute YouTube video. Has anyone else dealt with stripped hinge holes on older cabinets?

Honestly I used to think those little wood dowel tricks were overkill but that's actually pretty smart.

Had that same thought before trying it on a stubborn drawer last month @the_piper. Now I keep a few 1/4 inch dowels in my toolbox for quick fixes.
