We just moved into a new place and the garage has super high ceilings. I want to utilize the overhead space but I'm terrified of carrying heavy bins up a ladder.

Definitely look into a motorized option regardless of brand. Keeping the everyday stuff low and sending the heavy seasonal bins to the ceiling with a lift is the smartest way to organize.

Check out Ace Garage Storage. Their motorized lifts are incredible. I ordered one online, mounted it to the ceiling joists in an afternoon, and now I just press a button to bring my stuff down to floor level.
I'll second the recommendation for Ace Garage Storage. The cables and motor they use are practically bulletproof compared to some of the cheaper hoists I've seen online.
