Finally pierced my own second lobe after debating between a needle and a gun for weeks

Went with the piercing needle from a kit my friend gave me after doing research and it was way smoother than I expected, barely any pain. Has anyone else had issues with irritation using those cheap disposable guns?

Respectfully, the whole "gun versus needle" thing gets blown out of proportion online. I've had my second lobes done with a gun at a shop and they healed fine with no irritation. It's more about who's doing it and how clean the equipment is than the tool itself.
