My homemade stick-and-poke looked great for 2 weeks then turned into a blurry mess
I used a 5RL needle and india ink but didn't go deep enough so the lines spread out like crazy after it healed. Has anyone else had their work look good at first then totally fall apart after a month?

That's the thing with tattoos, they're like those cheap headphones that sound amazing for the first week then one side just dies. Everything has that honeymoon phase where it looks perfect before reality sets in.

Three years in and my sleeve still looks great, just gotta take care of it. Are people really letting tattoo regret get to them that bad?
