Rant: That guy who tried to fix his leaky faucet with duct tape and zip ties
My neighbor across the hall in my apartment building in Austin decided his dripping bathroom sink was a DIY project. I heard him banging around for like 3 hours. Next morning I see him leaving with a wet towel wrapped around the pipes and zip ties holding the faucet handle on. It lasted maybe 4 hours before water was running down into the parking lot below. Landlord sent everyone a notice about not messing with plumbing after that. Why do people think sticky stuff and plastic straps can stop water pressure? Has anyone else had to clean up after a neighbor's bad home repair?
