My bathroom vanity almost fell off the wall this morning
I installed a floating vanity about 8 months ago and thought I did everything right. Turns out, I only used two of the four wall anchors it came with (figured two was enough, you know?). The whole thing started pulling away from the drywall when I leaned on it. I had to quickly prop it up with a stack of old books and run to the hardware store for more heavy-duty anchors. Has anyone else had a wall-mounted project fail because you skimped on the mounting hardware?

Whew, I learned that lesson with a TV mount.

My old apartment had this big mirror I hung with just two anchors. It stayed up for years, so I figured that was enough. Then one hot summer day the whole thing came crashing down at 3 AM. Now I use every single anchor in the box, no matter what.
