Swapped my flat pry bar for a cats paw after 12 years
Always thought a flat bar was all you needed for demo work, but trying to pull nails with it on a bathroom remodel in Denver last week drove me crazy. Two pulls with a cats paw and I was done in half the time. Anyone else find one tool that made them rethink their whole approach?

Actually, a cat's paw is a type of flat bar, just a different shape.

Hold on @hugo825, but if a cat's paw is just a flat bar in a different shape, then a screwdriver is just a pry bar with extra steps. The whole point of a flat bar is the straight edge for leverage and scraping, while a cat's paw has that curved fork specifically for pulling nails. You wouldn't frame a wall with a cat's paw, and you wouldn't pull trim nails with a standard flat bar. Different job, different tool.
