Can we talk about those cheap plastic toilet flappers from the dollar store

I was dead set against them for like 5 years. Figured any part that costs $1.25 can't hold up to a rental property toilet. Then my tenant's old flapper cracked on a Sunday with no hardware stores open. Stuck one in as a temp fix and it's been running fine for 8 months now. Anybody else had a cheap part outlast the name brand stuff?

Dollar store flappers are the cockroaches of plumbing parts.
