Shoutout to the 1,000th revision of a single detail drawing
I was cleaning out some old project folders and realized I've saved over a thousand versions of a single HVAC ductwork detail for a hospital job in Phoenix. The architect kept changing the adjacent wall framing, which meant my hanger points moved every time. Has anyone else ever hit a revision count that felt more like a joke than a milestone?

Ugh, that reminds me of a client who changed their logo color twelve times in one week.

Man, I used to get so mad about constant revisions. Thought it was just bad planning. But after seeing a project go totally sideways once, I get it now. Those tiny changes add up to big problems if you don't track every single one. A thousand files is crazy, but I'd probably do the same thing.

Honestly, that level of tracking sounds like overkill to me. Sometimes you just need to trust the process and let things flow without getting stuck on every single change.
