Spent $400 on a drafting lamp that gave me a headache after a week

Some say good lighting is worth any price, but I think my old desk lamp was fine. Anyone have a good brand that doesn't cause eye strain?

Man, that's brutal. My cousin bought one of those fancy architect lamps and it made her whole office feel like a dentist's waiting room. She ended up just putting a regular old warm bulb in it and now it's fine.

Wait, are we sure it's the bulb and not the shade or the height? I've seen where the metal reflector can mess up the light color too, even with a warmer bulb in it.
