Spent $400 on a new drafting light and it's the best money I've put into my home setup.

I got the Neatfi XL2 after working with a cheap desk lamp for way too long. The color and brightness are perfect, and it cuts down on eye strain after long hours on a detail. It was a chunk of change, but I'm not squinting at fine linework anymore. Anyone have a good light they use for late night revisions?

Honestly used to think those fancy lights were a total waste of cash. Tbh my old clamp lamp from the hardware store seemed fine for years. Then I tried a proper light on a friend's drafting table and the difference was crazy, like going from a dim bulb to actual daylight on the page. Ngl it makes you realize how much you were straining to see.

Reminds me of trying to read a menu in a dark restaurant... you don't know what you're missing until you have good light. Maybe milaprice just has better night vision than us.

Hate to be that guy but come on terry_wood51, it's just a lamp. My eyes adjusted to my junk desk lamp just fine, feels like a weird flex to need perfect daylight to draw a circle.
