The day a squirrel tried to become my drafting assistant
So last Tuesday, I was working on a site plan for a new park in Eugene (you know, the usual). I had the big window open for some air. Out of nowhere, a squirrel jumps onto my desk, runs right over my keyboard, and hits a key combo that somehow saved over my main file with a blank template. I lost about three hours of work (the park layout, the tree placements, everything). The little guy just stared at me from the window ledge like he was waiting for a performance review. Has anyone else had wildlife completely wreck a project file? I'm thinking of investing in a keyboard cover, honestly.

My cat walked across my keyboard once and somehow turned on sticky keys. Took me an hour to figure out how to turn it off.

Your cat managed that in just one walk, @price.stella?

My old laptop had a key combo that would invert the screen colors. The cat found it twice a week. It feels like tech is full of these hidden landmines just waiting for a paw or an elbow to set them off. You don't find them until something random triggers the whole system to act weird. Then you're stuck searching forums for an answer to a problem you didn't even know could exist.
