The moment I realized harbor tugs were messing up my dredge cuts
Last month in Galveston, I kept getting uneven material until I noticed a harbor tug was churning up the bottom every 20 minutes. Now I coordinate with the dock master before I start a job - has anyone else had to adjust their plan around tug traffic?

yeah that Galveston situation sounds rough, @ryan_ellis mentioned Norfolk having the same issue but i wonder how far out from the dock does the tug's prop wash actually mess with the bottom? like is it just right there or does it kick stuff up a good hundred yards out?
