Why does nobody talk about those cheap hydraulic hose repair kits?
Bought one for $80 last month thinking I could fix a small leak on the spot... it blew out in under an hour and cost me a full day's work waiting for a real mechanic. Anyone know a brand that actually holds up under pressure?

My old John Deere had that same issue with the governor. I ended up replacing the whole spring assembly with a heavy-duty part from the dealer. It ran smooth for years after that.
