My first supplier told me 'never test with Facebook ads' and he was 100% right
Back in 2018 I was running my second store and kept blowing cash on boosted posts for a phone case product. A supplier I worked with in Shenzhen straight up said, 'You are paying to show people something they do not care about yet. Get the product in front of a small group first.' I ignored him for 3 months and burned about $1,400. Then I tried his way, used a tiny $20 a day budget targeting just people who already followed a niche Facebook group about rugged cases. First week I got 11 sales. That supplier saved my business but I was too stubborn to listen sooner. Has anyone else had a supplier give marketing advice that beat everything they learned from YouTube gurus?
