Duct tape fixed my wobbling washing machine for $3, then the floor decided to join in
After 2 months of that thing shaking like a paint mixer on meth, I jammed a folded belt under the front foot and it ran smooth for a solid week, but now the linoleum underneath is buckling, so has anyone else traded one dumb fix for another dumb fix?

Used to swear by shoving stuff under appliances, figured that was the peak of cheap fixing. Then my floor started rippling like a lake and I realized I was just moving the problem around, not actually solving it. Now I’m learning the hard way that sometimes the cheapest fix ends up costing you more in floors and frustration later.
