Found out my town has a law against feeding pigeons after 3 PM

I was at the county clerk's office in Brunswick last Tuesday renewing my car registration and saw this old poster on the wall. Apparently since 1997, you can't scatter birdseed in public parks between 3 and 6 PM. My neighbor Mrs. Garcia got a warning last spring for tossing breadcrumbs at the courthouse square. Has anyone else run into a weird feeding time restriction?

And this is coming from someone who once showed up to feed ducks at 11:30am and got the stink eye from a retiree (which, honestly, is my own personal level of public shame). I guess I'll just have to wait till noon like the responsible adult I pretend to be.

Like, did some guy show up at sunrise with a giant bag of bread and just cause chaos every morning? I bet it's one of those towns where someone complained once and they just made a whole ordinance out of it. Probably just a slow news day for the local government honestly.
