My buddy who does HVAC finally sorted his van with labeled bins. It makes such a difference when you're on a job site and can find stuff fast. He said it cut his setup time in half, no more digging around for connectors. Took him forever to get it done, though.

How do electrician bins compare to what reese_lopez49 said about HVAC? Tbh, my own car is a disaster zone so I admire anyone this organized. Takes forever to set up but must save so much time on jobs.

Yeah that "takes forever to set up" part is so true. For electrician bins, it's all about the small parts. You need separate bins for wire nuts, different screws, connectors, and staples. I saw what reese_lopez49 said about his buddy's HVAC setup and it's the same idea. If you don't label them, all the little blue wire nuts and red ones just mix together and you waste ten minutes on your knees looking for the right size. But once it's done, you just grab the bin you need and go.
