Pulled a 14 hour shift only to find out the panel schedule was completely wrong
Honestly, I was in a commercial building downtown trying to finish a lighting retrofit and every single breaker I turned off killed the wrong circuit. Spent two extra hours tracing wires with a toner because someone labeled everything based on guesswork. Has anyone else dealt with a panel schedule that was just pure fiction?

Oh man, that's brutal. Nothing worse than trusting a panel schedule only to find out it's complete fiction. I've been there with a warehouse job where "Panel 1A" actually meant "Panel 3B in the back corner" - drove me crazy.

Right? I swear some panels are labeled by a guy who just closed his eyes and pointed at the board. Did a job last month where the schedule said "Kitchen Lights" but when I flipped it off the bathroom exhaust fan died instead. Handwritten or digital doesn't even matter at this point - both are just suggestions at best. I've learned to always bring a toner and a healthy dose of skepticism.
