Saw some wild conduit work at the new library in Springfield

I was checking out the new public library in Springfield yesterday and noticed the exposed conduit runs in the reading room. They used 2-inch EMT in these crazy sweeping bends that follow the curve of the ceiling, maybe a 15-foot radius. It looks cool, but I'm curious if anyone has done a big exposed install like that and how you handled box placement without messing up the clean lines.

Did they use any special fittings for those long bends?

Wow, @susana66, they must have bent the pipe itself!

Man, I feel your pain trying to keep those lines clean. Good question from @susana66 about the fittings too... on a big radius like that, you almost have to custom bend everything on-site with a hydraulic bender. Any junction box just kills the look, so I bet they ran home runs back to a closet or dropped down inside a column.
