Hit 1000 hours on a specific Otis controller model this week. That number felt way bigger than I expected.

A thousand hours on one controller is a serious chunk of time. My own gaming stats would probably show I've spent that long just trying to remember which button does the jump. It really puts the scale of that kind of dedication into perspective when you see the number. Congrats on hitting that mark, it's no small thing.

Used to see those hour counts and just shrug, like it's just a number on a screen. But holding a controller for that long, it actually wears down the plastic, the sticks get loose. Makes you realize it's a physical record of all that time spent, not just a digital one. Changes how you look at your own old gear sitting in a drawer.

Ever notice how worn out game cases get too? Like the plastic gets cloudy or the spine cracks from being pulled off the shelf so much. My old copy of Skyrim has a permanent thumbprint smudge on the cover art from all the times I grabbed it. It's weird how the stuff just shows your history without saying a word.
