What's with that trend anyway? It just adds another admin task to my already packed week. Now I gotta format everything for email instead of just updating the log book. Feels like it takes time away from doing the actual repairs.

Honestly, I felt the exact same way about the email reports at first. I mean, it just looked like more busywork that took me away from fixing things. But then a manager caught a pattern in my old emails that pointed to a failing system we could fix early. Now I get that having everything in one place online can prevent bigger headaches down the road. Maybe it's just me but that experience totally flipped my thinking on it.

Yeah, formatting for email is a pain, I just take a quick photo of the log book page and attach that.
