Shoutout to the time I threw out my back hoisting a motor

Man, I was replacing an old motor last Tuesday and my back just gave out. It's been days and I'm still walking like I'm eighty. I mean, you think about all the weird positions we get into, right? But seriously, how do you guys deal with this without popping pills all day? Maybe I need to start doing more stretches or something.

Typical how our bodies betray us during routine tasks.

Betrayal is a strong word for what's often just wear and tear. Our joints and muscles get tired from doing the same things every day. It's more about maintenance than a personal letdown.

Tell me what exactly happened during this routine betrayal. Was it a back spasm while picking up a pen, or did your ankle buckle on a flat floor? My shoulder once popped out while I was putting on a jacket, which felt overly dramatic. What specific part called it quits?
