TIL my service route hit 500 elevators this month
Some guys say that's a crazy high number and means we're overworked, but my boss says it's just efficient scheduling. What's your take on a realistic route size?

My route was 300 and I was burnt out.

300 miles sounds like a lot... but is that really enough to burn someone out? Maybe it's more about the pace or the type of roads. Some people do way more than that and are fine. Just seems like there might be more to it.

Yeah, sam17 has a point about it maybe being more than just the number. "300 miles" is just the distance, but it doesn't tell you about the hundred stops, the traffic, or the tight deadlines. That kind of pressure every single day is what really grinds you down, not just the miles on the map. It's the whole package that burns you out.
