The cabbage soup diet wrecked my kitchen for a week
Tried that old fad diet back in 2012, where you only eat cabbage soup for seven days. My apartment in Spokane smelled like a rotten swamp by day three. I gave up on day five because I felt so weak I could barely climb a ladder for a simple gutter check. Anyone else have a diet that just made a huge mess?

The sticky juice on the ceiling fan is a new level of commitment. At least with my cabbage swamp, the smell just soaked into the walls. I had to throw out the pot, it was a lost cause.

The pot was a lost cause?

That 2012 cabbage soup week sounds brutal. I remember my cousin trying a grapefruit diet in her tiny studio and the sticky juice got on everything, even the ceiling fan. What was the worst part of the cleanup for you, like scrubbing the pot or trying to air the smell out of your clothes?
