Be cautious with hoof picks from the new vendor in my neighborhood

Several have broken during routine use.

Heard the same thing from a couple barns over by the river.

Hold up, you heard that from the barns by the river? Those barns collapsed after the big storm last month. Sound can't travel from there now. I checked last week and the only thing left is a pile of wood half a mile away.

But is the hoof pick problem that SERIOUS? If the barns are DOWN, who's even around to complain?
