That week in March when every horse seemed to have a hoof crack
I had six clients in a row with quarter cracks, which is way more than usual. One was a show jumper in Lexington, and the owner was really pushing for a quick fix. Do you think wet spring weather makes these more common, or was it just bad luck?

My farrier mentioned wet ground can soften hooves and make them split easier.
