The day I tried to close a deal in a grocery store parking lot
My phone died right as the client was about to sign, so I had to run into the store and buy a charger from the electronics aisle. I ended up closing the deal while leaning against my car, with the charger still in the box on the hood. Has anyone else ever had a closing go sideways in a totally weird place?

Honestly, closing a deal in a parking lot sounds like a normal Tuesday. It's just business, not some epic movie scene.

Have you ever had to set up a whole impromptu office in your backseat? Keep a portable battery pack and a paper notebook in your car at all times. That way even if the tech fails, you can still write down key points and have the client sign a physical copy. I always carry a clipboard and spare pen too, it makes the handoff look professional even from a tailgate. Clients actually seem to like it when you're flexible enough to work anywhere. What's the weirdest spot you've ever had to play office?

Had a client meeting at a coffee shop once and the Wi-Fi completely died. I mean, I needed to pull up the final contract on my laptop. Ended up using my phone as a hotspot, but the signal was so bad we had to move tables twice. Honestly, just rolling with it and laughing about the situation kept things from getting awkward. The client signed anyway, maybe because the whole thing felt more human and less like a stiff office meeting. Sometimes the weird spots make for a better story and help close the deal.
