Foraged fruit fermentation feels like a win, but maybe it's theft
My plum wine came out pretty good after some early issues. I grabbed the plums from a park tree without permission. Is it fine to use public fruit for brewing?

Absolutely a win! Public fruit is fair game if it's just going to rot on the ground. My BEST cider came from apples gathered under trees on a college campus. Letting good food go to WASTE is the real crime in my book. It feels more like a public service than theft. Your plum wine turning out good is the perfect proof it was meant to be.

Ever try making perry from abandoned pear trees?

Totally agree, letting fruit rot is wrong.
