Vent: My kombucha brew time made me slow down

I used to rush everything all the time. Got a kombucha kit as a gift last month. Watching it ferment taught me to wait. Now I don't mind delays in my day. It's a small shift but it helps.

Yeah, fermentation really makes you wait. I got into sourdough a while back and that slow rise time changed how I see delays. Now when my bus is late, I just watch people instead of fuming. It's wild how a simple process can rewire your patience. Glad you found that calm too.

Does waiting for a real result, like your brew, make other waits easier? You see the point of the kombucha wait, so maybe other delays have a point too, even if you can't see it yet. That idea turns boring waits into times you can just be, which is pretty cool.

Yeah, the "watch people instead of fuming" part really clicked. I had the same thing happen when I tried growing tomatoes from seed. Checking on them every day forced me to notice tiny changes, and now I get the same feeling when I'm stuck in a long line. Just watching the world go by feels okay.
