Had to choose between a 401k loan and a personal loan to fix my roof last spring. Went with the 401k option.

Man, that's a double whammy if you leave your job early, lol.

Actually, leaving early might not be that bad. A lot of places just pay out your vacation time when you go. The real hit is if you leave before your 401k match vests. That's free money you just walk away from.
