Used to believe being nice was the only way to help someone improve. Then I got some real, blunt feedback on a project that stung at first. It actually pointed out flaws I was totally blind to. That kind of direct criticism forced me to fix things I would have ignored. Changed my whole view on how growth happens. Sometimes you need that harsh truth to see clearly.
