Appreciation post: Thinking back to how we used to wire flowers by hand for everything
I mean, when I first learned, we spent hours wiring each bloom for corsages and boutonnieres without any of those quick connector things. Now, most shops use pre-made bases or glue guns, which is faster but feels less personal. Idk, maybe it's just me, but I miss the quiet focus of twisting wire and seeing a delicate piece come together slowly. Those techniques really taught you to respect each flower's shape and fragility.
