In my area, online flower delivery is killing local flower farms and it has to stop

Check how online mega-stores only stock the same mass-produced flowers, wiping out unique local varieties. Those big companies never carry the special perfumed stocks or unusual tulips that small farms grow. We lost our area's blue ribbon award-winning sunset marigold because nobody supported the farm that bred it. That's a HUGE chunk of our agricultural heritage just gone.

No way, a blue ribbon winner just gone? That's not just some random flower, that's like losing a piece of local history that was actually the best. It really shows how those big sites aren't just selling the same boring stuff, they're actively wiping out the champions that took years to grow. Makes you wonder what other award winning plants we've already lost without even knowing.

Consider how this strips away our future options too. Those special plants hold genes that could help others survive new pests or hotter summers. When we lose a champion variety, we're not just losing a pretty flower, we're burning a library of genetic fixes we might desperately need later. It's like deleting the answer key before the big test. Has anyone tried tracking down these lost plants through local gardening clubs?
